Suddenly, out of nowhere, it’s “Today I’m leaving for Australia” and no longer “I’m going to Australia in October”. The stress I had in the past couple of weeks is partly gone. This is it, no way back, I’m doing this.
The backpacks are ready, in a minute I’m off to the airport where the hardest part of all this will take place: saying goodbye to my parents… After that: to London! Then Dubai. Then Sydney..
I still have trouble realising that I’m going on such a trip, but damn I hope it’s going to be worth it. It’s my duty to make that happen.
